Free Horde Power Leveling Guide

This free Horde Power Leveling Guide will show you how toThe Horde Gold Guide power level your Horde character to level 20 within 20 hours. First I would like to give you our definition of power leveling. The definition of power leveling in general is gaining as much levels possible in the shortest amount of time.

The power leveling method that you will find in this guide is developed for people that want to level 8 characters. You can choose any composition of classes and races but in our guide we went out from two characters for four races, and one of each class. Our play time for leveling one character to level 20 is about 20 hours. You can see how long you played by typing /played.

Discover How To Get From Level 1-80 Fast

This guide might not be as big or as flash as other Leveling Guides but our guide should be able to help you a big deal with completing quests. If you want to level a Blood Elf to level 20 you can have a look at Dugi's Ultimate Horde Guide. 20 hours for one char might seem a lot but please know that we also level up professions as we go.

Most of our characters already have their professions around skill level 150 once they reach level 20. Leveling professions can be quite time consuming. In order to maximize your characters professions and make sure that they go together you should have plenty of gathering skills on your characters.

Below you can see in which order I leveled my professions and which professions my characters have:

- Skinning and Tailoring on Troll Mage

- Herbalish and Enchanting on Troll Priest

- Herbalism and Alchemy on Undead Rogue

- Skinning and Leatherworking on Orc Hunter

- Mining and Blacksmithing (Weapon) on Undead Warrior

- Herbalism and Skinning on Tauren Druid

- Mining and Blacksmithing on Orc Shaman

- Mining and Engineering on Undead Warlock

I have three Miners, three Herbalists and three Skinners. Like this I will gather plenty of resources to fuel my crafting professions. If you do something similar you will not have to buy anything on the auction house. I have two characters that are Blacksmiths for the simple reason that I want one of them to specialize in Weapons and the other one in Armors. I made my Druid a gathering character and hope to make him a Woodworker one day because I hope that Blizzard will allow us to craft staves and arrows with a new profession like this.

When you want to level up fast you should know that questing is the fastest way to level up fast. Avoid too much grinding and traveling. Once you have killed a mob you should just shift + right click to grab the loot and don’t spend too much time looking at your found items and bags. Especially at the lower levels you do not need to buy anything from NPCs. The lower levels are so easy that you can almost do them naked.

You should level your first character to level 10 and then start on the next one and so on. This allows them to get rested a bit while you play on your other characters. You might also find some item that could fit another character of yours. Avoid traveling too much and only use the mailbox when you are in town anyway to hand in some quest or train etc. Once all your chars are level 10 you take them all to level 15 and then eventually to level 20.

Levels 1-5

The first 5 levels go extremely fast as you get your first level by doing one extremely easy quest. You can get to level 5 within the hour. The quests are fairly easy and are bunched up in your starting area.

Levels 5-10

Once you reach level 5 you should head to a second town for your race which is Brill for your Undead characters, Senjinn Village for your Trolls and Orcs and Bloodhoof Village for your Tauren characters. Do the quests that belong to your race. I have explained them all below.

Undead 5-10

As you leave the first area you should pick up the quest that requires you to gather 10 pumpkins on a nearby farm. Do this straight away and take the follow-up quest before heading to Brill where you hand it in. Complete the follow-up in the cellar and take all the others quests in Brill. Make Brill your new home at the Innkeeper before heading west where you talk to the abomination that asks you to gather three Gloom Weeds which can be found near the little bridge.

Besides the bridge you can find a little farm where you can gather the claws that you need for A Putrid Task. The Hounds also drop the Blood Vials which you need for another quest. Complete them both and head back to Brill where you hand in the quest and empty your bags.

Head in North West direction towards the Scarlet tower and kill the mobs surrounding it. Head even more north to the coast where you can complete the Vile Fin quest. Head back to the abomination where you hand in the Gloom Weeds. Now you’ll be asked to gather 10 Doom Weeds which you’ll be able to loot from Grave robbers just a bit north. A bit further north you’ll see a few buildings including a barn and some houses. Kill the Mongrels there.

Head back to town to hand in your quests and empty your bags. Head to the Amagand farm where you should kill the casters and loot their eyes.

The tanks in the same area drop the ribs and Devlin can be killed in the most southern part of the establishment. Go back to town again to sell items and hand in your quests before heading southwest where you need to kill the Scarlet forces.

Gather the rings and defeat them until you have completed your quest. Head back to town to hand them in. You can get a new quest up in the inn. The bats can be found all over the place and the coarse thread can be bought at a general goods or trade supply vendor. Continue doing quests on the same foot until you receive the Lich quest which requires you to head to the Mage Quarter in the Undercity, the capital city of the Forsaken. Here you’ll have access to a bank which means that you can leave some stuff in it. If you are not level 10 yet you can do several other quests which are given by a NPC on the road just south of Brill.

Orcs & Trolls 5-10

Just outside the starting area of the Orcs & Trolls you will see a NPC that asks you to deliver a package to Razor Hill. You should directly head north to Razor Hill where you hand in the package. Pick up the quests in Razor Hill and head a little bit southeast where you can kill the humanoids in a castle and loot the quest items you need.

Kill the boss up in the castle, take the key and head to the rooftop where you can open a box with the key. Head back to Razor Hill to sell stuff and hand in your quests.  Now head to the coast in the east where you can search the wreckage of a boat for Gnomish Tools.

Hand in this quest and head south along the road towards Senj’Jinn Village where you should kill the Yellow Crabs for their Mucus and the Red Crabs for their Eyes.

Take all the quests in Sen’Jinn Village and head to the shore. Swim a bit towards the Islands that you will see in the distance where you can gather the Raptor Eggs, gather the Tiger Furs and get the skull in the camp where you will also be able to find the named boss that you will need to slay.

Complete all the other quests in the area and then go all the way north past Razor Hill to the Goblin which can be found on the left side of the road. Do the quests for him first. Once these are done head even further north and just before you hit Orgrimmar you go west where you can find a quest giver between a few rocks.

He requires you to visit the Shadow Cleft in Orgrimmar where you will get a follow-up. You have to kill Scorpions just outside Orgrimmar for this quest in order to make a cure for the quest giver. Now you can kill Fizzle down in the area where all those Thunder Lizards are. You will also be able to pick up a quest at the farm which requires you to find a medallion. You have to kill Crocolisks for this quest which can be found in the river to the west.

Tauren 5-10

Pick up all the quests in Bloodhoof before you start to make a big circle to complete several quests. Under the trees you can find Acorns and you’ll be able to find tablets at the different Wells you will come across. Kill the different kinds of beasts you come across including Plainstriders, Wolves and Vultures. You can find the Gnolls and Dwarves in the western part of the area. The Harpies are on the eastern part of the area.

Hand in the quests at Bloodhoof and take a new set. One quest will set you off on a little trip. Stay close to your guide, a Ghost Wolf that will lead you northwest. You will also have to kill a big Kodo which can be found in the eastern part of the valley just east of Thunderbluff. Complete the remaining quests in this area to get to level 10.

Levels 10-15

You will also have gathered quite a bit of materials by now which can be used to level your crafting professions and make some useful items. Send the Linen Cloth to your Tailor and let him make some bags for all your characters. Make your characters do the class related quests before you proceed.

It’s time to move to the next areas. However, instead of doing new quests you can send your Troll and Orc characters to the Undead areas and have them do the 5-10 quests described above. These will be a lot easier and faster now and you will also have more space in your bags. Send your Undead and Tauren characters to Durotar where they do the Orc & Troll quests described above. Like this you will also get a lot of new flight paths with your characters.

The above described quests will not get your characters to level 15. They should go to Seppulcher, in Silverpine just southwest of the Undercity. Do the quests offered in this town to get to level 15.

Levels 15-20

Now that all your characters have the same level and have all finished the Sepulcher quests it’s time to move all your characters to the Crossroads. You can take plenty of quests in the Crossraods. One of these will require you to fly to Orgrimmar or Thunderbluf. Do this only when you need to train your skills, otherwise just wait.

Do make sure to take the Crossroads flight path. You will have a little advantage because of your level and the quests will go fast. Start by killing the Plainstriders around the Crossroads before heading west and do the Kolkar quests. Head a bit north to the Oasis where you can also do several quests. Once you hit level 18, 19 or 20 you should try to look for a group for the Wailing Caverns.

Try to get all the quests for this instance before you enter. One or two are given in the Crossroads and another three are given in the cave above the instance. By completing these quests and getting nice experience and perhaps loot as well, you will definitely make level 20.
